Capsule Hotel Comes to India

The Japanese-style capsule hotel has come to India. A company called UrbanPod has started a capsule hotel in Mumbai:

At $30-$50/night, it doesn't really seem like a bargain compared to conventional lodgings. Compare with a Chinese capsule hotel that charges $7/night:





Meanwhile, other countries are moving this niche toward the high end of the market.
