Stratfor on Trump's Foreign Policy Choices

Stratfor has put out its preliminary assessment on Trump's foreign policy choices, but they claim that while he can continue to wind down the US presence in East Asia, it needs to stay in Europe lest this allow Russia to take over all of EurAsia (what nonsense - how is EurAsia more sensitive to US being in Europe but not in Asia?).

In my opinion, Trump has the opportunity to emulate the role of US President Eisenhower following WW2, in containing the American militarist lobby who were loudly calling for the US to get enmeshed in more wars for their own selfish profiteering reasons.
