Virtual Reality technology will certainly take off for gamers, who are a very hard-core constituency seeking the ultimate entertainment experience. That group alone will provide an abundant market for VR technology to evolve and advance. Graphics processors built to satisfy the cravings of the gamer market have evolved to become powerhouses of supercomputing.

Furthermore, VR technology could be further adapted for robotics. Imagine Indian call centres full of agents wearing VR-headsets who would be operating machines remotely to service customers on the other side of the world.

Robotics is a big technological revolution waiting to happen, because of its tremendous economic benefits. Don't underestimate the power of this forthcoming revolution.
