Supply-Side Economics Could Help India

One of the hallmarks of Reaganomics was supply-side economics, famously promoted by Reagan's budget director David Stockman. Given that the common Indian is terribly sensitive to price rises of staple goods, a strong emphasis on supply-side policy in this sector first would be a good way to give relief to the poor masses:

This means that Indian farmers have to be given more freedom to export outside India. The more they produce, the lower the prices will be for Indian consumers.
