SC i believe said this issue of gay sex is not within the purview of the law, it is something parliament has to take a stand on.
if i am not mistaken, the SC didn't say gay sex is criminal, just that it is, according to the indian police code, deemed unnatural.
it's only parliament that can modify the IPC.
