There is something clownish about Indian Communists who stand up and say with a stiff upper lip that they will not support communalist ! Ofcourse they mean Hindus.

Their Marxist scholars are not much better. With rare exceptions none of them know Sanskrit and yet claim to have studied ancient India. They criticise Hindu scholars as elitists for studying ancient Sanskrit texts, but have no problems with Western scholars studying Greek, Roman, German or any other European texts in the original languages. . . .
