madhu kishwar's staggeringly thorough series on modi finds him unfairly maligned

several articles, all published in manushi and worth reading in detail because they show that the cottage industry has lied at length.

It is truly remarkable to see that true journalism can still exist in the secular non-objective dessert that is India. Like the lone plant sprouting in the nationwide dump in the Pixar movie Wall-E, there remains hope that the likes of Madhu Kishwar will manage to bloom. She goes a bit too far in almost making Modi appear to pander to Muslim special interests, rather than that he just treats them like any other citizen of his state who deserve good governance. That odious Mahesh Bhatt comes across like a full-blown convert just like Teesta Setalvad.

Madhu Kishwar has always seemed to be a sling bag NGO type. A lot of journalists are changing their stance on Modi or speaking from both sides of their mouths. Maybe they sense the tide turning. They are not to be trusted. Opportunists ruined 2004 for the BJP for what could have been an election in the bag. It will happen again the way things are going.
