i am also reminded, yet again, of the wonderful short story by ponkunnam varki titled "the beatified kochappi", who, after he was thought to be dead, and 'beatified' (like MT), was discovered wandering around, and thereupon was beaten to death and buried in his own 'holy grave' where 'miracles' had been happening! the earth from the 'holy grave' had been selling for Rs 100 a pop! and had been replenished every night by the truckloads!
it is amazing that the semitic ideologies worship death, not life.
