"Our data suggest that the use of a laptop computer wirelessly connected to the internet and positioned near the male reproductive organs may decrease human sperm quality," says the report in the venerable medical journal Fertility and Sterility.

May have to do more with the heat from the battery than anything else. Do not think that non-ionizing radiation causes such damage. Wavelengths used for communication are on the infra-red side, not ultra-violet.
