Pak Begs to Differ, Begs for $upport



On the 10th anniversary of 9-11, Pakistan's govt tried to take out an ad in the NYT, but settled on the WSJ. Never ones to question the bounds of taste, they'd apparently never heard about the idea of fools rushing in where wiser men fear to tread.

@inferno the ndtv headline reminds me of a comment apparently made by president johnson when he was hounded by the american press. he said "if i walk on water today papers would be screaming tomorrow that president can't swim!"

Sounds like China is trying to do to India what Turkey is doing to Israel, in relation to issuing warnings on sea drilling, etc
