OT:
There is a meaningful probability of a hard landing in China after 2013: Roubini

The brand new high-speed train is half-empty and the brand new station is three-quarters empty. Parallel to that train line, there is a also a new highway that looked three-quarters empty. Next to the train station is also the new local airport of Shanghai and you can fly to Hangzhou. There is no rationale for a country at that level of economic development to have not just duplication but triplication of those infrastructure projects.

Rajeev,

The article is good, the ending could be better.

The Nehruvian Stalinist control is loosening. Phenomenal success of Bhyrappa is a testament to that. It is a step in right direction that likes of Girish Karnard are looked down.

Baba episode made clear the fascist nature of SS(Sonia, Singh). So she and her minions cannot go on abusing Modi when her hands are dripping with blood and money of aam citizens.

m patil, thanks. i could have ended it by saying 'seemabaddha' is a good example of how the organization man becomes morally decadent.

anyway, in your own state, the rise and rise of people like karnad and ananthamurthy continues. bhyrappa is popular with the masses, but will he ever get a jnanpith? he is being actively demeaned and pushed down. much like what happened to vijayan. vijayan should have been pushed forward for a nobel prize: but that requires the State to support actively.
