The new programmes will result in a massive improvement in productivity in certain sectors such as engineering, law, medicine, financial analysis, accounting, Information technology etc. This will also mean that the world will require fewer of these workers. Generally, the benefits of increase in productivity never get transferred to the workers themselves. Their wages will not increase.

The demands of the profession will increase. This does not make lives of people any better until further government policy can be taken to address this imbalance. IMHO, this is what led to the financial crisis. So such developments would make a newer financial crisis more likely in the future.
