 Case Method of Teaching

May 6 - 8, 2011

"This programme changed the way I viewed case teaching. I learnt a lot from the faculty, especially the way they simplified the concepts, related them and managed the class discussions."

Abdul Khaliq Daudpota

Sukkur IBA

Programme Participant, 2010

Benefits

Case Method is the most commonly known name for a teaching pedagogy that forces learning to remain "participant centered", and at the same time, ensures that content is current and relevant for real life management. The three-day programme on Participant Centered Learning is intended for business school faculty interested in participant centered learning process to enhance their ability to develop future business managers and leaders.

Case Method is considered an "art" and a "science" of teaching that takes time to master and also needs to be supported by solid processes; but once mastered, it is most useful and rewarding for both the instructor and the participant. Case method is demanding because the instructor has to prepare not just the content, but also the "process" with which this content will be delivered. Preparing the content requires a deep understanding of the subject as well as the personalities of the participants.

This programme has been designed by instructors who have been using the "Case method" for over 20 years and it will be conducted by faculty that has practiced case-method as a core philosophy of learning for many years.

Some of those Paki women are gorgeous. They are oppressed in that wretched man. Had it not been for the darned Mullahs, I would have been tempted to bring freedom to them, at least in Lahore.

Wishing all a Happy and Colourful Holi...

Wanted to write these two things

1) 23rd March will mark 80 years of Martyrdom of 3 great young sons of India, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed Rajguru and Shaheed Sukhdev. I am sure Government of India will give it a pass.

2) I just happened to glance over the film section of TOI(let) paper, (I hardly read newspapers, as I feel they are full of pro-kaangressi and paid up news) and I thought I noticed 'Staines' and indeed it was about the bast@** who was killed by Tribals for trying to convert them. Some Hollywood actor Harvey Keitel planned to make a movie on him. It was written that the actor mentions that he has so much knowledge on 'Gandhi' and 'Hindu fundamentalism' that he can 'write a book'.
A movie (Red Dawn) which shows China as invader quickly changes it to North Korea, where as these christists freely make movies 'saintifying' monsters and child molesters and demonising Hinduism and Hindu defenders.

Not just a stint for Burka, Turdesai et al, make it a one way ticket for them. Good riddance, it will be.
