Terrorists have no religion: BJP chief

http://www.ndtv.com/news/india/terrorists-neither-hindu-nor-muslim-gadkari-18255.php

The new BJP chief parrots the same old worn out disingenous cliches - that are characteristic of the psecs and do not behove the leader of India's solitary "Hindu nationalist" party.

In his attempt to sound "rational" and "secular", Mr. Gadkari would have ended up upsetting the Islamists whom he presumably wished to impress with his tail wagging. Any Jihadi worth his salt would feel insulted
by Gadkari's plagiarized thesis that negates his allegiance to the "religion of peace."

In my opinion, the BJP's new President is fast becoming an embarrassment to the party with his naïveté and anti-intellectualism.
In fact, this thoughtless indulgence in pseudo secular negationism disgraces the Hindu nationalist ideology itself. I would rather have a known enemy like the psec Congress anyday, than a Dhimmi BJP.

Pls note that Gadkari is a staunch RSS believer and follower - it might be a better line to probe what is the thinking behind his statement.

I will have Dhimmi BJP rather than no BJP.

I think a better comment should have been 'depending on the terrorist, he has religions'- a Maoist has communism, a Taliban has Islamism, and so on,

I think Ramdev's Party might be the only hope for us.

I am sick of seeing a lot of RSS guns declaring the same thing, even when they are talking in small gatherings in non-political situations.

What sort of world these guys live in ?
Though many of those I met are highly qualified and well-versed in indian culture have this pathetic misunderstanding of history and worse, a pet solution......cultural programs to as if they are enough.

RSS IS the reason that hindus are in a hopeless poltically impossible situation.

The RSS should split the BJP. Leave the Lotus party intact in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, J&K and Hindi States. Create a new party in the rest of the states, Karnataka included. Two parties will serve better than one. There will be less opportunity for self-destruction.

BJP now has confused its core ideology and is no different from other parties. I hope Bharat Swabhiman party wont get diluted in time. But a few years down the lane they might also compromise their principles.
