Is China Looking for a Border War?

Concerns are rising of a possible new Sino-Indian border clash. Will JFK-Obama have to give us airdrops again?

India is deploying BrahMos in Ladakh near the border.

According to the Chinese, this is a good time.

India's most dependable ally so far, the Russians, have plenty of problems of their own to be an active supporter to worry about.

Americans have no problems: they are doing business with the Chinese. Besides, the Chinese have enough investments in the US to buy their silence.

Pakistanis would be happy. So would Bangladeshis be.

Indians have quite a few Chinese backed problems that have gone out of hand; the Naxal menace for one, Islamic Militants for another and the Far East.

Good time. Now only you need to see when the weather conditions are favorable.

Financial system down the toilet.

Why are we not trying to weaken Chinese (to an extent possible) through
1.Trying to bring down the value of the Gold. Issue some kind of gold bonds, start selling or reduce the demand for gold, to undermine their gold reserves.
2. Start encouraging and subsidising Mfg to compete directly against them in the world markets.
3. Russia is in trouble many ways, but neverthless, they will be our long term allies. Why not we start helping them financially and economically to let them regain their status.
I am sure, our think tanks can come up with many more ideas. We have good USD reserve, if we are not going to use those for strategic purposes, when USD goes down big time, what is the use?
