i watched CNN-IBN for a little while, and there was some terminally screwed-up rich kid named rahul bose, not to mention the screaming banshee sagarika ghose and her hyper husband named rajdeep sardesai. none of them made any sense, and they were so disgusting i finally turned the thing off.

Same experience here also. I cannot understand how people in India tolerate such garbage.
Until I saw this link, I was following cnn-ibn due to a lack of options. Watching Sardesai + that lady's strong personal opinions co-mingle with what should be news was distasteful. I am going to try CNBC TV 18 now.
CNN-IBN, NDTV, CNBC, etc. are all under the same parent network. Even though they go by different names, its the same trash everywhere. I am sure you read the Editorial slandering of Hindu symbols by CNN-IBN.
And thats the problem, there is no right wing channel or news paper, let alone any other channel broadcasting live news on the Internet. So for people like us, there is no choice but to watch this crap.
And yes, I don't know how blind are people in India who can't see through the Anti-Hindu biased agenda of these Leftist sponsored channels. But can't blame them, all the channels in Bharat are having the same propaganda and playing stooges to KKKangress vendetta politics.

Very appropriate URL that! It's almost an anogram. Watch Desi Shit TV indeed!! For a change, CNN devoted all their time to this Jihadi attack, probably because Western hostages were involved. But, the quality of their coverage has been infinitely better than the shitty
Indian tabloid channels. NDTV had BURKA DUTT interviewing Kaangress thug Veerappa Moily - who predictably insinuated a "Hindu fundamentalist" link!!!
NDTV also seemed consumed with despair - because the LIMEY CRICKET TEAM cancelled their tour
midway, after getting their butt kicked in cricket.
It is a pity that the DeSHITv channels coverage is of such low quality, despite the fact of their proximity, boots on the ground etc. The only disappointment (predictable & expected) from CNN was a reaction from DEEPAK CHOPRA, the pseudo-spiritual plagiarist
"Guru". The fellow used the incident to again equate imaginary "Hindu fundamentalist militants" with actual Jihadi scum.
