for obama fans: is he a mohammedan incognito, and does he lie about it?

oct 24th, 2008

according to mohammedan law and custom, being born to two mohammedan parents, obama is and always will be a mohammedan. there is no converting out of the religion. (and his mom must have been a convert, or else her two marriages to mohammedans would be considered false, and she would have been stoned to death as an adulteress/fornicator in mohammedan indonesia).

so there is a case that technically obama is a mohammedan. saudi arabia must be thrilled that a mohammedan (even a manque type) may become american president.

and even if obama is *not*, enquiring minds want to know, why is he hiding this stuff?

more pertinently, what else is he hiding?

Even more interesting: Sarah Palin's faith comes under close scrutiny rediff.com October 25, 2008 16:07 IST

“Sarah Palin's [Images] faith has come under close scrutiny after two videos, taken in her former church, surfaced on YouTube and became an immediate hit.
“The first video showed a visiting preacher from Kenya praying fervently over Palin in a gravelly voice and asking God to favour her campaign for governor and protect her from "every form of witchcraft."
“The second video showed Palin at an event in June praising the African preacher's prayer as "awesome" and "very, very powerful."
“In an interview this week with the Christian Broadcasting Network, Palin, the Republican vice-presidential candidate, was asked to "clear up exactly what you believe in" about her religious faith, including her involvement with Pentecostalism....[etc.]”

There is already a huge volume of material on George Bush's religious beliefs and the practices that he insists upon such as prayer before an official meeting. He has also forced his beliefs -- which verge on the fanatical -- on the entire nation of USA.

Rajeev,

Your criticism of Obama is very uncharacteristic. To think that you would find common cause with the wingnut fringes of the GOP boggles the mind. I hope for your sake Obama wins the election.

truti, your criticism is unfortunate. why is it that all you obama fans act like moonies? why is it that you cannot take a single word of criticism about your little tin god?

i have been astonished at the quality of the retorts here by you and other obama fans, which boil down to:

1. the logical fallacy of: "rajeev, cannot believe an apparently reasonable person like you could be so blind to the glories of the obama millennium". this is a logical fallacy known as "poisoning the well". you are attributing ad hominem things to the messenger, while ignoring the message.

2. "you are repeating republican propaganda". yes, if the republicans say sensible things, i agree with them. it is interesting that i have also been accused by some of being a hillary fan. so which is it? in other words: "you may not say anything against saint obama".

i am a little appalled at sarah palin, and worry about what will happen if mccain dies. but i worry a lot more about obama coming in, because in that case all hell will break loose right away.

i have thought of more reasons why obama-moonies are wrong:

1. the financial crisis cannot be attributed entirely to republicans. alan greenspan was the fed chairman through 8 years of clinton rule, so democrats share the blame for allowing him to run roughshod on regulations.

2. the housing crisis has some of its origins in mistaken democrat notions about expanding home ownership. the nytimes article on cisneros makes it clear that democrats (in a demonstration of the "way to hell being paved with good intentions") loosened the norms on home ownership. this has helped lead directly to the subprime crisis, as people who cannot afford mortgages were given loans. this is another example of unexpected consequences, just as the communists tried to increase farm wages in kerala and instead totally destroyed agriculture.

i am also worried about obama being like the nehrus, eg. jawahar and sonia and rahul -- totally amoral and self-aggrandizing. the only difference is that obama is also smart. which makes him even more dangerous. having seen what the nehrus have done to india, i can only wish that you guys and obama will live happily ever after.

if obama wins, it is definitely the end of the american century.

and a crypto-mohammedan finger on the nuclear red button does not make me feel comfortable.

Rajeev,

Let's take your points one by one,

1. Logical fallacy - I have no idea what it means, and I am not in love with logic or reason. I go by evidence, and that leads me to your point #2

2. You are repeating republican propaganda and worse, coming all the way from the fringes of right wing crack-pottery. If you stepped a little further you would by now be joining those rumour mongers who have it that Obama visited Hawaii to destroy his original birth certificate or some such thing! I know you as a non-left vs. right dharmic traditionalist, who has no use for this left vs. right spectrum. There is no evidence offered by the repugnants, simply smear. When Rajeev finds a fundamentalist millenialist "Left Behind" Creationist OK, I am in doubt what Rajeev stands for. And as for your fears if Obama comes to power, it is hard to believe that you are serious.

3. Your points about the housing crisis are deliberately mistaken, and I am not going to insult your intelligence by telling you why. There are excellent analyses of the runaway financial engineering that led us into this mess. The Graham-Leach-Blilley bill was signed into law after being passed by a majority of repugs. Again I am not about to teach you the financial history of the last decade. I know that you know much better.

4. Obama is totally amoral and self-aggrandizing? And Mcsame is an altruistic saint who gives away even if it is hurt? Rajeev, I respect you too much to remind you of McSame's life-long history of meanness, nastiness, influence peddling, opportunism, misogyny and above all his still unapologetic justification of Vietnam, a position several of fellow POWs have long since decried - notably Phillip Butler who spent more time than McSame as a POW and is today a peace activist. As for Sarah Palin every day brings us some great news about this fundamentalist autocratic phoney. Politics is about compromise, opportunism, and power, and yet there are some who draw the line and will not step farther. Obama is incredibly smart and brings about a vision that before him only FDR has.

As for this crypto thing, do you even know the guy? Do you know anyone who knows him or works on his campaign? Aren't you seriously concerned that you share your opinions with Joe Corsi? Let's see what your problem could be? I have already identified one Stanford vs. Harvard, what else could it be? Because it is certainly nothing with evidence to back up.

truti,

1. you'd be a lot better off thinking in terms of logic or reason, rather than 'evidence', especially because you refuse to consider any 'evidence' other than that which supports your prejudices. i am forced to repay you in the same terms you are using on me: attacking the individual instead of the ideas.

2. i am not quite sure why it is republican propaganda (or wingnut or rightwing crackpottery) to consider an apparently authentic AP photo that says 'barry soetoro' aka obama is a mohammedan. what do you want, video of the young obama chanting the kalima ("there is no god but allah", etc.)? don't be an ostrich, hiding your head in the sand when there's evidence that the fellow was brought up as a mohammedan child. this explains also why he claimed to kristof that the mohammedan chant is the "most beautiful sound in the world". he was brainwashed as a child, and if he is hiding this, why, i'd like to know what else he is hiding.

there's the simple old idea that one would prefer the known devil to the unknown devil. mccain, and even palin, for all their faults, are the known devil. obama has known unknowns, and he probably also has unknown unknowns, and if you want to have the fate of humanity in the hands of such an entity, with its fingers on the nuclear red button, well, it's your funeral; however, i'm afraid it's my funeral too if the fellow decides to let fly some of them nukes, so i have an absolute right to question the guy and be appalled at his possible election.

i want to reiterate that i am neither republican nor democrat, i am simply appalled at the pied piper demagogue obama leading america down the garden path. i'd oppose him even if he were a green party member or whatever. the guy is a dangerous man. frankly, he terrifies me; he reminds me not only of jawaharlal, but also of smarter fiends like mussolini. let me remind you that mussolini also had a large number of unthinking acolytes who felt he was god's gift to mankind, just like you guys do about obama.

3. the financial history of the recent past has to do more with alan greenspan than anybody else, and greenspan was enthusiastically supported as a little tin god by the democrats too. on whose watch was the glass-steagall act rescinded? that's right, clinton's. why didn't he veto it or otherwise campaign against it? also, here's the voting pattern from the wikipedia: "Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which passed the U.S. Senate in one form on a party-line vote of 54 (53 Republicans and 1 Democrat) to 44 (all Democrats) and on a 343-86 vote in a different form in the House of Representatives, before being resolved by a joint conference committee; the conference report was approved by both houses of Congress (Senate: 90-8-1, House: 362-57-15) and signed by President Bill Clinton.[2][3]"

why were there no democrats opposing it? 90-8 in the senate and 362-57 in the house? so don't make up facts. the democrats were quite complicit in rescinding glass-steagall.

4. the question is not whether mccain is a saint. the question is whether there's anybody worse than obama, and the answer is "no". i agree that obama is smart -- he has been able to thoroughly brainwash a lot of you into zombies and has created mass hysteria unseen in the 21st century. this is what makes him particularly dangerous. i can guarantee that as soon as obama is elected dictator (yes, dictator, with a looney-left democratic super-majority in both houses), he'll start demonstrating "meanness, nastiness, influence peddling, opportunity, misogyny" and racism, sinophilia, mohammedanophilia, protectionism, jingoism, etc. this fellow is the ultimate opportunist and self-aggrandizer. he is going to lead america to ruin. he may even be the anti-christ that the looney-right talks about.

why do i need to know the guy? do you? i have no idea who joe corsi is, and i don't want to know. if you are smearing me by association, that's a laugh: your lunatic association with and espousal of obama is a total smear on your intelligence and judgment. why do i need to know any of his campaign-moonies? i am merely going by your favorite, "evidence", rationally viewing obama from a distance and using logic and reason to form my views.

as for stanford vs. harvard, don't be bloody peurile, for heaven's sake! besides, just like raoul nehru, i am a harvard man -- i took harvard extension classes on film appreciation and wine tasting. no, my distaste for obama comes from other sources. a. i am extremely skeptical of hero-worship, b. the guy is such a peddler of rhetoric over substance that it makes my skin crawl, and it appalls me that grown men and women could be so taken in by his snake-oil. btw, since you are so gullible, i have a bridge in brooklyn -- a real nice bridge -- that i'd like to sell you. wanna bid?

From Daniel Pipes’s blog:
Obama Would Fail Security Clearance
and More on the Links between Obama and Extremist Islam
USA seems to be heading for serious trouble. Truly frightening! I suggest one must also follow the links in Pipes’s articles, which are revealing.
Below are just a few paragraphs from the beginning of the first article.
"……First, Obama’s ties to Islamists:
The Khalid al-Mansour connection: According to former Manhattan Borough president Percy Sutton, Al-Mansour “was raising money for” Obama’s expenses at Harvard Law School. Al-Mansour, a black American (nĂ© Don Warden), became advisor to Saudi prince Al-Walid bin Talal, CAIR’s largest individual donor. Al-Mansour holds standard Islamist views: he absolves the Islamist government in Sudan of sponsoring slavery, he denies a Jewish tie to Jerusalem, and he wrote a booklet titled “Americans Beware! The Zionist Plot Against S. Arabia.” (Both Obama and al-Mansour deny Sutton’s account.)
"The Kenny Gamble (also known as Luqman Abdul-Haqq) connection: Gamble, a once-prominent pop music producer, cut the ribbon to the Obama campaign headquarters housed in a south Philadelphia building he owns. Gamble is an Islamist who buys large swaths of real estate in Philadelphia to create a Muslim-only residential area. Also, as the self-styled “amir” of the United Muslim Movement, he has many links to Islamist organizations, including CAIR and the Muslim Alliance in North America. (MANA’s “amir” is Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.)
"The Mazen Asbahi connection: The Obama campaign’s first Muslim outreach coordinator resigned after it came to light that he had served on the board of a subsidiary of the Saudi-sponsored North American Islamic Trust, with Jamal Said, another unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007 Hamas funding trial. Asbahi has ties to CAIR’s Chicago and Detroit offices, to the Islamic Society of North America, yet another unindicted co-conspirator in the Hamas funding trial, and to other Islamist organizations.
"The Minha Husaini connection: The campaign’s second Muslim outreach coordinator has an Islamist background, having served as an intern in the Muslim Public Service Network. Immediately upon her appointment by Obama, she met with a group of about thirty Muslims including such notorious figures as CAIR’s Nihad Awad; the Muslim American Society’s Mahdi Bray, who has publicly supported the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist groups; and Johari Abdul Malik of the Dar Al-Hijrah Mosque in Falls Church, Va., who has advised American Muslims: “You can blow up bridges, but you cannot kill people who are innocent on their way to work.” … etc."

Worth reading is also an earlier (November 1999) Pipes “blog”, starting with the reaction of Mohammedans, especially Pakis, to Rushdie’s “Satanic Verses”:
“How Dare You Defame Islam”: “ In Pakistan itself, after a month’s buildup, an unruly mob of some 10,000 anti-Rushdie protesters took to the streets of the capital city of Islamabad. Marching to the American Cultural Center (a fact significant in itself), they attempted with great energy, but without success, to set the heavily fortified building on fire…….etc.”
— which shows that the American people will never learn who are their friends and who their enemies.
I TEND TO AGREE WITH NIZHAL YODDHA: "... the question is whether there's anybody worse than obama, and the answer is "no"."

A little while ago, I submitted a post starting with "From Daniel Pipes’s blog". I find now that Ghost Writer has already posted on the same topic: More on Barry Hussein — “Obama Would Fail Security Clearance - article by Daniel Pipes”
My apologies, especially to Ghost Writer. Because of the abundance of Shadow Warrior blogs, I missed Ghost Writer's post at first.
