India's Road-Building Successful in Afghanistan

One of the best ways to strengthen Afghanistan and reduce Pakistan's stranglehold over it, is to build transport arteries between Afghanistan and Iran. India is making great progress in this, and that's what's riling Pakistan so much, and making it attack us.

We should take these attacks as a sign that we are striking a nerve with Pak, in significantly undermining its influence. India should keep pushing ahead with such constructions, broadening and deepening their scope. If China can build a railway into mountainous Tibet, why can't we Indians similarly also build a railway from Iran to Afghanistan, in order to firm up supply and transport links?
