should sarabjit be pardoned?

mar 20th, 2008

i checked now and it does say 48.6% no; 40.8% yes.

i am sure the results will be reversed if the question is about the pakistani terrorist who was sentenced to death by the supreme court for attacking the indian parliamnet.

indian mohammedans: they are mohammedans primarily and happen to be indians (they would probably prefer to be something else). just as the indian-origin mohammedans in malaysia have said they want to be treated as malays.

i think it was sardar patel who called jawaharlal the only patriotic mohammedan in india.

Hi Rajeev,

An interesting fact. Siasat is a English version of a URDU daily out of India. They have a internet poll wether Sarabjit should be pardoned. As of now the majority of them say 'NO'

Are these readers 'INDIANS'? If so why do they not want Sarabjit to be pardoned I may ask.

It is said internet polls are mother of all unscientific polls.
Other day I happen to catch Sagarika Ghosh on CNN-IBN discussing Tasleema Nasreen with Tarun Vijay, an Islamist hydrabadi and a bengali leftist. After watching that debate I came to the conclusion that the lady can not chew gum and think at the same time. Anyhow, polling question was "has India let down Tasleema Nasreen?" guess polling results...

16% yes and 80% NO.

We can guess who is watching C(ommunist)NN-I(slamist)BN.
