comment on the erosion of american naval and other supremacy in asia

sept 25th, 2007

kaplan points to something of interest: the US war in iraq has meant a huge opportunity cost for them. this is sad, and is a bad outcome of the war.

i have supported the war because of a different reason: it has helped make mohammedans focus more on the us and europe in terms of their normal terrorism objectives, rather than on india which has been reeling under their terrorism for a long time.

but the end of the american century is definitely on hand. india must take advantage of this, instead of its usual ideological rigor mortis. play the americans and their allies off against the sino-mohammedan axis. eventually even the yanks and the aussies will recognize that the axis of evil is china, pakistan and saudi arabia. that day will come when the yanks are no longer beholden to saudis for oil.

By congratulating Indian cricket team on their victory in T20 world cup, super secularists have hurt the feelings of followers of "religion peace and tolerance" all over the world.

Secularists are demanding that there should be a 90% quota for Pakistan's victory over infidels in regular matches and 100% if it is final.

I support the war in Iraq, despite the false excuse of WMD - because :
1) crushing defeat of muslim regimes anywhere in the world demoralizes the ummah.
2) it has exposed the shia-sunni schism within islam
3) iraq is now a magnet for islamists from across the islamic world, hence undermines jihad elsewhere.
4) mohammedan on mohammedan bloodletting is good for the world
5) as a corollary of #2, we may see conflict between the mullah regimes in Saudi Arabia & Iran.

It does result in a colossal drain on American resources, evident from the hesitation to get involved in Iran.

Decline in American naval power is not necessarily good for India, to the extent that it emboldens the Sino-Islamic axis of evil.

Apart from Japan, India needs to cultivate strategic alliances with other Asian nations like Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Neglecting the augmentation of Naval power has resulted in conquest of India by the Mlechhas in the past. This mistake should not be repeated in the present times.

Re Sunni-Shia schism:

Excerpt from Tension between Sunnis, Shiites emerging in USA:
•Shiite mosques and businesses in the Detroit area were vandalized in January, and a Shiite restaurant owner said he'd received a threatening call mentioning his sect.

Authorities have yet to identify the vandals. But some Shiite Muslims told local news media they believe Sunnis were behind the broken windows and graffiti because Shiites had celebrated publicly when former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, a Sunni, was executed in December by Iraq's Shiite-led government.

•On several Muslim websites in recent months, Sunnis and Shiites from Seattle to Manhattan have traded accusations that they have been rebuffed from worshiping at each other's mosques.

Meanwhile, a small Sunni group known as the Islamic Thinkers Society, which has branded Shiites as heretics and is known for distributing provocative leaflets in New York's Times Square, has gone online to urge its followers to "avoid" contact with a range of Islamic studies scholars and theologians, several at U.S. colleges.
