and now quota for christists

jul 14th, 2007

note that it is valson thampu who's spearheading this. he is the guy
who used to write all that holy-holy stuff in the papers in
collaboration with swami agnivesh.

those articles were usually supercilious pieces putting hinduism down
with the subtle hint that christism was so much better. agnivesh was
always ready to do the mea culpas on behalf of hinduism, wagging an
admonishing finger quite religiously (no pun intended).

now thampu -- who i suspected to be a closet fundie all along -- has taken off the gloves and shown that he's a full-fledged fundie. and
what happened to agnivesh? apparently he has been discarded now that
his role as "useful idiot" is no longer necessary, given that
christists are ruling the country.

this is what has happened to the arya samajis and the brahmos -- they
have been hijacked by the clever christists and then tossed aside when
they were no longer needed.

if all brahmos are deracinated opportunists like amartya sen, then it
couldn't have happened to a more deserving bunch.

i'm glad thampu, though, has bared his fangs and demonstrated he's the
same as the other usual suspects: cedric '2000' prakash, john 'a
mosquito bit me, it must be a hindutva mosquito' dayal, et al.

so can this be taken as a formal acceptance of the caste
discrimination prevelant in the the xtian society ? that converting to
xtianity will not help getting rid of the dalit tag, in fact if
anything it only enhances it... in fact increasingly the term "dalit"
seems to be associated with non-Hindu lower castes, where as the term
harijans for the Hindu SCs .. see
