no, i havent read the sachar report.
but it has been pretty obvious what its intention has been all along.
it is to declare that mohammedans are 'backward communities' by definition.
therefore all mohammedans are to be given reservations for everything.
since arjun singh has successfully reserved all sorts of seats in everything for 'backward communities', this means that every mohammedan can, if they want to:
a) get a professional college seat
b) get government jobs
c) get private sector jobs if they are also forced to have quotas
thus, mohammedans should enjoy the exalted and privileged position they deserve because they are so obviously superior human beings. (according to shahabuddin, mohammedans are superior to hindus because mohammedans are monotheistic. why stop there? mohammedans are superior to hindus because they can beat their wives and are allowed to do so by their mullahs.)

I am sorry since this is is OT and if this has been covered in some earlier comment/post. But i just thought the recent TN happennings deserve a lot more publicity - really shocking as this excellent post points out.
