ashok row kavi on the jesus fairytale and 'da vinci code'

june 21st, 2006

the amount of bullshit that went on in india to mask the pathetic exercise in censorship indulged in by samuel reddy and other congressis is just amazing. so there is no 'freedom of expression' when it comes to semitics: no ELM maven opposed the ban on the movie 'da vinci code'.

i haven't seen 'da vinci code'. maybe i'll go see it, if as ashok row kavi says, it has a whole lot about the suppression of women that is one of christism's hallmarks.

it is crystal clear that jesus was a figment of paul's fertile imagination.

and oh yes, that helena! she 'divined' in a dream the spot where jesus (existence be upon him) was 'crucified'. there happened to be a temple to athena on the spot, which was promptly demolished, just as all old roman temples were after constantine got the 'holy spirit'.

not to mention thomas with the two skeletons (the one as a young man, and the other as an old man -- sweet jesus, a miracle!). and the 12 or 13 foreskins of jesus worshipped all over the place. yes, 13! very prolific, did it just keep growing back? one was even presented as a 'wedding ring' to one 'saint catherine'! i guess if you're making up things, might as well go whole hog! like the 72 virgins (or white raisins, as the case maybe) and the 28 young boys, in a slightly different context.

this is all best explained by tertullian, an early church type: credo quia absurdum. i believe because it is absurd. the full statement made by him was:

Natus est Dei Filius; non pudet, quia pudendum est: et mortuus est Dei Filius; prorsus credible est, quia ineptum est: et sepultus resurrexit; certum est, quia impossibile

(Translation: "The Son of God was born: there is no shame, because it is shameful. And the Son of God died: it is wholly credible, because it is innapropriate. And, buried, He rose again: it is certain, because impossible")

hahahaha! rotfl! thank you, christist, for making my day!

"how many modis can you find among christists"?

well, lots, because what he's doing is looking after hindu interests. you know, just like ratzinger is looking after christist interests. or oommen chandy. or samuel rajasekhar reddy. or sonia gandhi. or george bush. to name a few.

however, since you are insinuating with your twisted logic that modi is a monster, here are some true monsters among christists in the recent past (your "last hundred years"). you really must read some history.

1. hitler
2. stalin
3. nixon and kissinger (for bombing cambodia and causing the deaths of 1 million people; ok, kissinger is a jew, but that's a detail)
4. mussolini
5. godman leo xiii who signed a pact with the nazis

between them, these guys bumped off at least 10 million people.

christism is not really a religion. it is an armed cult masquerading as a religion. yes, in fact, hinduism is far superior as a belief system.

your assertions are so pathetic it is evident that you have no idea what's going on. i don't know why i am even bothering to respond to such an inferior person. your "points" are so easily negated -- for instance, how many buddhists did sri sankara kill? answer -- zero. he simply argued with them!

"Isnt the whole of Hindusim based on myths?"

--- Mr. Kaalan,

I suggest you undertake some proper study of Hinduism under a qualified teacher (and without any preconceived ideas and judgements), before you comment on it.

Hindus understand Hinduism intuitively because it grows on us. Just like we dont have to make an effort to understand mother tongue.

But an outsider judging Hinduism by reading a few stories cannot be credited with any knowledge or understanding.

Hindus understand the underlying unity of Hinduism, because that is the underkying truth.

What you see standing on the outside is your optical illusion. Just like a glass rod standing straight in water appears bent.

Once again, please go to a proper Hindu teacher and learn.

On another point, how come Christians say rotten things about a Lingam (as if procreation is something terrible), and at the same time, worship the actual in flesh foreskins of Jesus ? Like to answer that one first ? Go ahead and tell us.

After that we can talk about the erotic sculptures in Hindu temples. And why MF Hussain's paintings are not acceptable. I wont waste my time on you though, I already said you need to go to a teacher first.

Kalan,
you just gave this forum the much needed comic relief. It needs guts to say ""how many modis can you find among christists"?

Actually since i am a Modi fan, my answer is NONE. Frankly, i don't think Christians can produce a man like Modi.

But if you are talking of mass-murders in Christians, well, what can i say? A 4th grader can possibly give a better answer.

Or may be a native Indian in US can give a still better answer?

Or let me take a guess. How about asking the remaining people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

Kaalan,
So in your lengthy rant you avoided response to question whether JC is a myth or not. Vatican City, however, cannot hide anymore. They have to provide conclusive proof and they shouldn't have trouble because isn't evertyhing in Bible 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 true?!
Hitler as a vegetarian!! Hitler's religion was Christianity and Vatican City refused to intervene diplomatically when he was butchering Jews. Also, US may not have dropped bomb in name of Christianity but Harry Truman was a Christian and he didn't bomb Germany, another Christian nation, but Japanese who were not.
So one more time - How would you deal with faith when Vatican City cannot prove conclusively that JC existed?

Mr. Kaalan,

I came back here to read Darkstorm's entertaining post
which was too long to finish at
one go.

Next time you want to respond,
dont be too cowardly to do so
while the discussion is going on.
Dont wait till the end, and
imagine that you had the last
laugh.

Attacks ? I have not attacked you.
You were the one who wrote some
trash here, and I respectfully
asked you questions you needed
to answer first. I even answered
your question on Hinduism, Hindu
ebeliefs, but being a Christian
who only knows myths, you could not
understand my answer.

Why should I bother to teach you
Hinduism ? As you may have seen
from my earlier posts, I have
stated that Christians have been
brainwashed into the belief that
Christ is the only way to God -
This is a fundamental belief of
Christianity.

No intelligent Hindu would waste
their time arguing with a
Christian.

And one thing I know for sure,
arguing about beliefs is not the
way to God.

In any case, why would I waste my
time trying to even give you any
"short hindu course" ? Have you
shown any respect or humility to
earn my time ?

You walked in here and said some
rotten things, and you expect
respectful answers, and time and
attention in return.

I'll now spend my time and bytes
reading Darkstorm's entertaining
post. His answers are good fun
and have substance too.

Sorry to jump into this discussion but my 2 cents:

Kaalan says, "So the US dropped the bombs in the name of Christianity? "

No. But the effect of cult-like religions like Christianity & Islam is that anything and everything goes (including bombong/killing innocents) when they are threatend. So USA need not do this in the 'name of their religion', but such ruthless & ugly behavior becomes ingrained in their culture. Thats one of the things a cult teaches you, directly or indirectly.

Kaalan says, "I disagree with your "protests" about painting gods and godesses nude. If you feel inclined, go ahread, paint Mary, Jesus, Krishna etc nude. "

See your sense of what is insulting or wrong etc may not match with others. But when you draw your neighbors wife nude and her family comes and tells you DONT do this...then you should listen & comply right ? Or will you say, "hey, dont get worked up...you can draw my wife nude too...no problem...and you if want to draw our other neighbor's wife nude (all 'for a good reason' ofcourse) then too I will support you." THIS is not about your feelings...its about others. So learn to respect them.

I have a feeling this Kaalan is
a professional nudist and does
it for a living. That is why
he couldnt care less if Hindu
goddesses are painted nude, and
more so, by a Hussain, and is
also happy to encourage people
to paint Jesus and Mary nude.

That explains it!

That explains his insensitivity.

Relax folks, it's just someone's
professional approach to things.

Let's not come back here and bother
about any more of his nonsensical
answers.

"Daisies, stop whining. You can go ahead but then dont claim to understand Hinduism, yet refuse to even answer a simple question."

-- Kaalan, who is whining ?

You are the one who was whining
because Daisies didnt answer.

Boo Hooo Hooo goes Kaalan, and
whines for an answer.

Since you are so desperate, the
answer shall be given to you -
the same answer that Buddha
gave - SILENCE.

To one who cannot understand
anything beyond Jesus, the best
answer can only be SILENCE.

The others are giving you too
much importance and answering
your charges patiently. I for
one dont believe I owe you
anything. I dont owe you an
answer.

Keep whining as long as you
wish, or as long as Rajeev
allows you.

I am unconfortable!! I am not the one who thumps Bible and says everything in this is true so please convert, tell other people it is true and donate money. Hinduism and Jainism have survived centuries inspite of heavy frontal attacks because truth always prevails. Atleast I have not been brainwashed to brainwash other people and attack scientific facts (Darwin't theory).

Kaalan: "LazySusan, have you ever read Amit Varma's Pink unicorn post? What if I suddenly worship a particular tree. Would you suddenly listen to me if I forbid you to cut the tree from your garden? "

But I am not forbidding you to draw YOUR OWN wife in the nude....you may do as you please and not cut any trees from YOUR OWN garden too...why should I interfere in your garden plans ? But if you insist that I should not cut tree from MY garden, then I must protest. Similarly, I say, dont draw someone from my family nude, it hurts my sentiments. It is disrespectful for me. Its a natural cultural instinct for me.

And Hindus have nowhere acted violently. Dharnas, morchas, slogan shouting and signature campaingns are legit forms of protest and not violent. Violence is burning down embassies and such like what some Muslims did @ Danish cartoons.

The reason why MF did what he did is irrelevant in this issue. He may think he is doing the noblest deed but the audience is not pleased. If he made these paintings and kept it to himself, why should we care ? But he chose to make it public and hence he should expect a public reaction.

says:
"I hope I dont have to be a high caste (the kind who wear a thread to prove their superiority) person to ask such questions."

-- Sweetheart Kaalan,

No, you dont have to wear ANY
threads to prove your
superiority, in order to ask
any questions here.

You have already asked 1000
questions without having to
establish any credentials, and
asked them very RUDELY, and
expected answers to them, as if
you were entitled to asnswers
simply because you challenged
people.

Just wear a cross and swear by
Christ. That will assure you
of all superiority. You dont
need the upper-caste sacred
threads. Leave them alone.

My suspicion though, is that
you are a NON-Christian, and
someone who has written to me
very, very rudely in the past.

It is so easy for me to
recognise pattern behaviour.

But so as not to humiliate you,
I will refrain from naming you.
A lot of people do know me as
a kind person, and it is not a
pretense. There are times when
I choose to be very, very kind,
even if someone doesnt deserve
it. This is one such situation.

The true Kaalan will fight on this
blog to his dying day to oppose
Daisies, Darkstorm and so on.

The true Kaalan will not give up.

And the true Kaalan claims to be
"totally tolerant" of the whole
wide world.

He cant even tolerate the opinions
of people here, and feels compelled
to fight the opinions here.

And wants to pontificate to
people to who understand the
difference between dharma and
adharma, and are willing to fight
if need be to preserve dharma.

By Kaalan's theory, Sri Krisha who
waged war against the kshatriyas
was WRONG, DEAD WRONG.

We must revere Kaalan as the new
avatar and submit to him, his
demands and orders.

We must listen to Kaalan, and
uphold Kaalan theories, which he
rudely, arrogantly and most
intolerantly sought to impose on
others here. And he claims to be
a non-reactive Hindu (true Hindu, by his defintion)!), while being desperately intolerant of everyone
here. He even wants to control
others here.

Let us be quietly tolerant of him.

However, that does not mean we will
submit to his control.

It was pure chance that I picked up this book “The Rozabal Line” because it sounded interesting. It is perfect reading for all those of you who have strong opinions regarding the history of conflicts between major world religions. After reading the first 10 pages I was hooked! The author leads one to believe that Jesus did not die on the cross, left the holy land, settled down in Kashmir, sired children and died there (Rozabal). He then supposes that any bloodline of Jesus in Kashmir would most probably have converted to Islam during the Muslim invasions from the ninth century onwards. What if a bloodline of Jesus that has converted to Islam exists in Kashmir? The grand alliance between Christianity and Islam cannot be discounted. The twist at the end was terrific. Read this book only if you have the patience to deal with the extensive historical research that forms the foundation of the story… in my opinion it is well worth it. You can buy it on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/Rozabal-Line-Shawn-Haigins/dp/1430327545/. The author's blog is at http://shawnhaigins.blogspot.com
