'aryans': a figment of a very fertile missionary imagination

dec 20th

amazing how much grief one person can cause: in this case, that missionary max mueller who was hired to expressly provide support for christist evangelization activity in india and performed his duties faithfully. not surprising, considering the other hoaxes in christism including the existence of jesus, the existence of his multiple foreskins, the two skeletons of thomas, the miracles of m. teresa, etc.

from dr. kalyan

i can predict the 'eminent historians' response to this:

1. your ancestors wiped out 'homo heidelbergsis' therefore we will wipe out you hindus.
2. mohammedans wiping out hindus is just like homo sapiens wiping out homo heidelbergsis, so we support the mohammedan invasion of india both in the past and now by pakistani and bangladeshi types
3. your ancestors wiped out homo heidelbergsis, so we want the chinese to wipe you out

sounds a lot like the story from max mueller and the 'aryan' invasion fairytale guys, doesn't it?

"our ancestors, the 'aryan's, wiped out your ancestors. so we white christists are allowed to wipe out you brown hindus".

the more things change, the more they are the same.

i am just waiting for romila thapar and irfan habib and dn jha (in between eating large steaks) responding along points 1, 2 and 3.

or else they may start their 'dada engines' (please see much earlier post on this blog about automatically-generated post-modern academic papers).

Early Humans Settled India Before Europe, Study Suggests

Modern humans migrated out of Africa and into India much earlier than once
believed, driving older hominids in present-day India to extinction and
creating some of the earliest art and architecture, a new study suggests.

The research places modern humans in India tens of thousands of years before
their arrival in Europe.

University of Cambridge researchers Michael Petraglia and Hannah James
developed the new theory after analyzing decades' worth of existing
fieldwork in India. They outline their research in the journal *Current
Anthropology.*

"He's putting all the pieces together, which no one has done before," Sheela
Athreya, an anthropologist at Texas A&M University, said of Petraglia.

Modern humans arrived in Europe around 40,000 years ago, leaving behind cave
paintings, jewelry, and evidence that they drove the Neandertals to
extinction.

Petraglia and James argue that similar events took place in India when
modern humans arrived there about 70,000 years ago.

The Indian subcontinent was once home to *Homo heidelbergensis,* a hominid
species that left Africa about 800,000 years ago, Petraglia explained.

"I realized that, my god, modern humans might have wiped out *Homo
heidelbergensis* in India," he said. "Modern humans may have been
responsible for wiping out all sorts of ancestors around the world."

"Our model of India is talking about that entire wave of dispersal," he
added. "[T]hat's a huge implication for paleoanthropology and human
evolution."
