Have the class identities changed? At least in Kerala?

Nurses (almost entirely Christian) continue to bring prosperity to their community. And the middle east boom has largely helped Muslims escape poverty. The groups remain distinct and are now well-off as compared to Hindus who lack the advantage of remittance. And remittance remains the only way to prosperity in Kerala. Lets not forget that Muslims and Christians are relatively free from classes and castes (classes do exist within their society, but on a much more tolerable scale).

Check the online forums to see the new class-wars ("How come Hindus remain poor while Muslims and Christians are prospering!").
